My friend Le' models the hair jewel I made for her. She is a very creative person who has a wonderful home filled with beauty and color, and she and her husband love animals and have raised doves and exotic fish. So for Le' I chose beads in many colors and the bird and fish pendants.

Most people like to wear their hair jewels clipped in the lower part of the hair behind the ear, so it hangs over the shoulder like this. But some clip them onto their pony tails, or under the top part of the hair so they hang down the side of the hair. My  friend Gabrielle likes to wear her long hair pulled back from her face with barrettes or other clips -- she attached her hair jewel to the clip and the hair jewel hangs down the side of her beautiful long brown hair.
