Healing Energies

I became interested in energetic healing techniques when it became apparent that the treatments I received from the MD's of western medicine seemed to be ineffective to heal me of my own health challenges. I started looking for alternatives which offered a more holistic approach.

As I proceeded along my own path of healing I found that I responded better to the more "heart centered" methods of ALTERNATIVE healing techniques than I did to the more "mind centered" methods of western medicine. I simply felt so much better about the compassion of a healer who took the time to gently touch and comfort me, than I did to a Doctor who only touched me with a stethoscope and who relied on laboratory analysis and prescription medicines to diagnose and treat me.

The type of medical care now practiced by most Doctors has now become known as "traditional" western medicine, but the LAYING ON OF HANDS is truly the traditional method of healing. There are numerous mentions of Jesus healing by the laying on of hands in the Bible. This gentle and loving method of healing is ancient - truly time tested!

Standard western medicine addresses only the physical symptoms of an illness. In MY experience, I found that if I did not address the original CAUSE of the illness, eventually the symptoms would return, usually more emphatically than before. I found that energy healing methods actually affect more than just the physical, thus treating the cause in the emotional, mental, or spiritual levels of our being.

As I worked with various healers during my own healing, I was inspired to learn the healing techniques which really resonated with me the most. In my opinion, all energetic healing techniques are essentially the same, because they all come from the same SOURCE - the only source there is - Divine Love or Universal Life Force Energy. My experience is that healers are people who have opened themselves to be a conduit of Universal Life Force Energy for others.

The curious thing is that, although I know the energy to be from the same Divine Source, I find it to be true that there is some difference in the effects of different techniques.......in other words, at one time, perhaps Reiki is exactly what is needed by a person. At another time, perhaps Jin Shin Jitsu or Touch for Health is perfect for that person. I believe the difference lies in the original INTENT of the originators of the various healing techniques. Just as all religions speak of God, but have different interpretations of what "God" means, or a different understanding of how to have a direct experience of God, so too the originators of different techniques of healing may have had different understandings of what healing means, or the way healing works. This would give a different "flavor" to the system. All religions have the goal of leading one to a direct experience of God, but Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam all have a very different feeling and flavor. Perhaps the original intent and understanding of healing by the originators of different energy healing techniques actually causes variations in the frequencies of energies which are transmitted by different healing techniques, making one more beneficial at a specific time than another.

I also found that as my own healing progressed, I became very sensitive to the energies in my own energy body, and I was amazed to find that I could actually feel it when another healer was doing distance energy work on me. That's when I understood that long distance energy work is very effective, even though the healer and client may be separated by hundreds or thousands of miles. And why not? The Source of Divine Love is unlimited!

I have trained with several Masters in the energetic healing techniques which particularly touched my heart, and it is my great joy to be able to offer these healing energies to others.

When a person comes to me for healing I first get in touch with my guides, and with the guides of the person seeking healing, to determine if what I can offer is truly what is needed by this person at this time. If so, then I ask which technique is the most beneficial now. If it is indicated that I am NOT the best person to work with that client I will refer them to another healer or type of healing, as indicated.

COLOR THERAPY

REIKI is the most well known of these healing methods. The intent of Reiki, as I understand it, is to open a channel of Universal Life Force energy to be received by a client in whatever way is most beneficial for that person. I trained with Reiki Master Joy Morgan (the Joyful One!) in Austin, Texas. Reiki can be done in person, or at a distance.

INTEGRATED ENERGY THERAPY is a technique intended to affect the emotional body. I was trained by Stevan Thayer, who channeled the method from the Angel Ariel. Feeling the energy of this Angel was a very powerful and transformative experience for me. IET can be done in person or at a distance.

STRUCTURAL ENERGY CLEARING is a treatment of the etheric body, which clears blockages in the energetic pathways of the structural systems of the body, resulting in an improved flow of energy throughout the body. This is a distance healing technique, which I find to be most effective when done at night, as the client is going to sleep, so the body is relaxed and the client does not have to get up and move around for awhile.

ENERGY CLEARING of PEOPLE & PLACES includes many different types of clearing, including such things as the removal of negative entities, negative thought forms, detrimental psychic cords, and non-beneficial energies from the environment. This is multi-faceted work that I've developed by incorporating things I have learned in training with a number of teachers, including Raymon Grace, Joey Korn, and Hannah Kroeger. I do this type of energy clearing at a distance.

COLOR THERAPY is included here as an energy healing technique, although it is not a "hands-on" technique, because the different colors do transmit different frequencies of energy and have different effects on the energy systems of the body. I have found that when we supply the frequency of light that is insufficient in our energy field it is quite a beautiful experience just to bathe in the color that brings balance to our auric field. Color therapy is done in person and is especially lovely when combined with an Aromatherapy treatment.
